A bassist for your viewing pleasure.

I’m learning how to draw human physique properly in the manga style and today I wanted to experiment with coloured lighting. I was pleased with how she turned out so I thought I’d post her up here. My scanner leaves the colour looking a bit drained and the lines a bit raw but here she is none the less. Enjoy.

I’m not the world’s biggest Slash fan but the guy is an awesome guitarist and news of his new album made me think of some drawings I did a long while ago when his first solo album came out.

See if you can guess which song this doodle belongs to.

Oh wow that’s a lot harder than I anticipated. Tablet art is certainly a challenge and here are the fruits of today’s work: a very sketchy rendition of two of the baddest badies in fiction:

Hazel and Cha Cha, being the evil duo from The Umbrella Academy: Dallas by Gerard Way and Gabriel Ba.

Yes I did put my signature in the painting because, well, even though I highly doubt someone will try to lay claim to that rubbish, practising a signature is a good habit to get into.
